my first entry

I decided to write this so that I can have a place to put my thoughts, ideas, funny kid stories, weird patient stories, and other random things that I would never remember otherwise!! I don't really have time to write this but at this point it's better than the alternative - which is studying! Who wants to study? 

I named my blog "becuzz I said so!" because that is what I am finally driven to say at the end of the day with my two children who are ages 6 and almost 4 - I'm sure any of you who have kids or who have been a kid have said or heard this before!!! I actually must admit that sometimes and only sometimes - I do say "becuzz I said so!!" - at the beginning of the day.

So, I'm a mom, a wife, a full-time nursing student, and a lot of other things that make up who I am. Sometimes I wonder what the @#$* I was thinking when I decided to go back to school!!! But then my kids ask me if we can go to Disney World and I say "No!!" Then they ask why not and I say, "becuzz I said so!!" - and I think to myself - that's why I'm going to nursing school!
